This is a wonderful piece of retro-modern Meisen silk, woven in the early Showa era; it features a stylish brown base with geometric patterns created using the *kasuri* (ikat) technique. Please enjoy wearing it out in style—it looks great layered over Western clothing as well as traditional kimono.
