This is an exquisite, meticulously crafted piece by Tokiemon—an artist acclaimed worldwide whose work was commissioned for and acquired by the Victoria and Albert Museum in the UK in 1994. It features threads dyed with mud and botanical dyes, patterned using the *kasuri* (ikat) technique, and woven in the "7-Maruki" style to create a delicate small-flower motif.
