This beautiful kimono was meticulously crafted by Sumida Somitsu, who carved fine stripes into a 11.81inc stencil using a carving knife. Hattori Mitsuhiro stretched the white fabric taut on a long board, shifting the stencil by 11.81in at a time to match the pattern, and then hand-dyed it. Wear this stylish kimono when you go out.
