【Comment】 This is a prestigious piece featuring a woven structure similar to that used in the *sokutai* (formal court attire) of Prince Shotoku. In modern terms, the technique is akin to braiding an *obijime* (sash cord). While standard *obijime* are typically braided by crossing about eight strands, this *fukuro-obi* is a meticulously hand-woven piece created by crossing thirty strands. It is easy to tie and resistant to wrinkling.
