Dyed in the 1960s. It is a hand-painted Kurotomesode. It is an elaborate item with a turtle in a wave of auspicious pattern expressed with gold pieces and embroidery.
Although it is a formal wear for Mrs. Kurotomesode, it is now used for parties, everyday use, and as an object of art, just like a piece of clothing.
