This is an elaborate ikat-weave garment woven using hand-spun and hand-woven techniques from the early Showa period. There are some knots characteristic of hand-spun silk, but this is not a problem.
The lining also features a beautiful design depicting "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" from the Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji.
It can be worn stylishly over kimono or Western clothing.
