This exquisite piece features a beautiful color scheme of stylish brown tones combined with gray ikat. The complex dyeing process involves 30 dyeings of the threads using mud and plant dyes. The delicate ikat pattern is applied using a seven-mark weaving technique, then expertly woven by skilled weavers who carefully weave the ikat and unravel it, weaving approximately 30cm per day. Enjoy the crisp texture and the unique luster of Oshima silk as you go out.

The lining is a beautiful Nishijin weave. This is also a rare lining.

Incidentally, the tortoiseshell pattern is equivalent to 120 teeth.
