This is a retro item from the 1950s.
Because it uses hand-spun yarn, there are some areas where the threads are sticking out like weaving flaws, but this is part of the charm of hand-spun yarn.
The reverse side of the pattern is also stylish.

It can be worn stylishly over a kimono, or even over jeans or a samue (traditional Japanese work clothing) when going out.
