Japan Pre-loved sash belt (Hukuro-obi) 100% silk / 1424

This is a handmade machine woven in the unique world of Kondaya Genbei. The pattern on the belly and the o-daiko is made of lacquer foil, and the reverse side is a fashionable pongee style with a contrast of brown, green, and beige, creating a retro-modern pattern. Please enjoy the completely different expressions of the front and back sides and fasten it in a fashionable way.
The item has already been treated with a pearleton, so you can rest assured that it is safe.

Incidentally, Kondaya was commissioned by the Victoria and Albert Museum in the UK to create obi sashes; six *fukuro-obi* were supplied and are currently on display there.

Please use it as a table runner or It would look lovely displayed in a room.
